Well..I just got a great email from jane magazine...I won a contest I entered a while ago and get to bring a guest with me to Miami to be a co-judge for a dance contest (and hopefully have my photo in the mag again). I love Jane...if I could only work for one mag it would be Jane..I have every issue including some Sassy's . I had a subscription for Sassy when I was young and loved it too! More later...have to run to watch my reality shows..:) Z

Another great weekend and to top it off , it was Duncan's B-day. We spent the day at the Garlic Festival on Sat: The Saugerties Garlic Festival and ate lots of garlic. I even ran into my next door neighbor from high school. We spent the late afternoon shopping in the antique stores in Saugerties..where I found and bought several brooches and a fur stole.
For Duncan's bday dinner we ate European style..bought fresh bread, cheeses, wine and olives and had a feast while finishing the first season of Alias on cd. Cant wait to start the 2nd season tonight and catch up by the time the show starts again this winter.

Got a call today from a lovely lady casting director who I auditioned for a few months ago. My audition is on Wed afternoon for a new romantic comedy feature..I will finish reading the script tonight as well. My meeting with Ron went well on Thurs night ..and I got a tape of the new music from Blitzkrieg...and will be reading at a 2nd producer's reading in about 3 weeks. If anyone out there is interested in behind the scenes (production or otherwise) or auditioning for Blitzkrieg...drop me an email. Ron is still looking for investors as well.
Tonight my mom and I are taking our first knitting class...so maybe I will be able to make scarves by the winter (hehehe). Have a good night..Z

Hello and good morning: I woke up with a sore throat..but with a little rest and a few hours of reality shows..I feel back to normal. I have to run out this afternoon and get some things for Duncan's B-day tomorrow. This week was pretty fun. I had to work on Tues and Wed ..but had fun on Thurs which culminated in an evening meeting with Ronnie, the playwright of Blitzkrieg. We met at Schillers on the LES..and discussed the upcoming reading (in 3 weeks or so). Also...got a call from EI CInema (great horror flicks) to come into an audition on MOn or Tues. I did a little window shopping as well..but found nothing that I absolutely needed...what I am really looking for is a vintage or new fur cape/stole and antique brooches. Also a new pin-striped suit and some black pants for the fall.

We are figuring out OCt for social events etc..and I realize almost every weekend is booked..so I will be a busy girl. I cant wait until the leaves are fully changed..its so beautiful when that happens up here.

Hello everyone...i got up extra early this am to run to a casting at TEC for the film "AMerican Gangster" with Benicio Del Toro and Denzel Washington...I dont care if I am a "tree" in the film to be in the same room with that talent. Woooh...so I got there early ..left a h& r and a polaroid...and then was on my way. This afternoon I have a late lunch meeting with a manager: Anthony Mann...cant wait. Then off to work until 12:30 am or so...so busy, busy! I dropped off my resumes for 100 or so copies and I am going to do a mailing this week. Stay well..Z

We got back from Southold, Long Island late last night (traffic sucked) and had such a wonderful long weekend. The weather was amazing ..enough to go wading and take the kayak out on the sound. The puppies are so great to travel with..they are quiet and just sleep in the car..the house we rented was neat..and the views ..gorgeous. I feel ready to conquer the world..or at least nyc. Today I have two go-sees in the city and it will be a pretty busy week. I start my jazzercise class tonight and am still seeking a personal trainer upstate..not having much luck. Hello..I had so much fun in Myrtle Beach with my mom and family! I missed the pups and Duncan..but it was so relaxing living on the beach for a week. I know someday I want to own a beachhouse..or a house on the water. I love it so!



Looking forward to a busy fall with a couple of film projects..some new representation..and I really want to start a playreading or screenplay reading group upstate.

I know it has been a while..but I will really try to make a concerted effort to post more. My birthday has come and gone..and well I dont feel all that much different. I had a great time on Lake Sacandaga with Duncan, Dee and Will. I will post some photos and links to cool places we visited. I cant wait until the 21...I leave for a relaxing week in Myrtle Beach with my mom and family. But before that, I start shooting a short indie on Monday...this monday. It is called "Joel" and its about a disturbed, lonely man who goes on a killing spree prompted by a killer clown whom he hears talking to him. In the film I play a young woman in a bar who picks him up and then charges him for sex. Needless to say...I end up shoved in a closet...yipeee I cant wait. I will take photos on the set and tell you all about it. Today, Sat is 2nd Sat in Beacon..so I will venture out and see whats going on in my humble little city on the Hudson. sayonara for now..and much love..Zoe

What a wonderful sunny weekend. Spent yesterday at the Storm King Art Center..and it was so beautiful. It is an outside sculpture garden with modern sculpture over 500 acres. There is even a tram that takes you on tours..check it out..for a fun day in the Hudson Valley :Storm King Art Center

Today was spent updating my resume and cover letter for mailings , emailing..and cleaning the house. Where do all the magazines, books and newspapers come from?

On Thursday..had wonderful reading for a new film..the title is still under construction..suffice it to say it involves vampires, monasteries and other gothic wonderments..yipeee! I will know soon the update for that project. If you havent checked out the scream queen site..do so.they need props!! Just finished watching my weekly recordings of the reality shows on..and just love watching the simple life 2 ..what fun they must have had filming it.

As for things on the homefront..all is well..taking the summer off to regroup..figure out where I want to take my career...work out..hike, mountain climb, plant a garden, swim and have some travel adventures. Hello,
Again..i fail in my duties of keeping this up..but being too busy is a good thing right. The weather has been so nice up to this point..so I have been outside every chance i get. I am inside on this dreary day..waiting for the air conditioning man to check and make sure all goes well before it gets too hot.
This weekend was amazing...Sat spent the day on an extraordinary hike in Pawling/Poughquag. A hidden lake in the woods..and so much fun. Quiet, tranquil and just the right temp. After we explored Pawling and even found a homemade ice cream place that makes sugar/fat free so I could have some!

Fri, I visited the dietician and she sent me on the right track..so carbs are back in my diet and all should be well as long as I keep up the exercise.

We rented "Spider" Cronenberg's latest effort and it is weird to say the least. Also have a few more great flicks and watched Buffy this morning over breakfast. Have errands to run and then work out and fun stuff. Here are a few links that I have been meaning to add lately. I am so sorry that I have been slacking but its all this damn sunshine (wink).Z
